My Project

As an Entrepreneurship teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage students in creative activities designed to 1.) be hands-on, 2.) allow for individual expression & ownership, and 3.) be easy to get into and hard to master.

Buttons are fun!

Our old button maker has always been a hit with students. The moment they realize that they just made something in the button press is always special. They are not only making the button, but they have to think about the design of it, who they might be selling it to, how much money it costs to make, how much would they have to sell it for, and all the other thought processes that go into creating a product for the market.
