Help me give my students a Cricut Maker to design Lunar New Year projects using design thinking to foster their individual creativity through learning about other cultures and traditions.

My Project

We would love to have a Cricut maker, along with assorted accessories and materials requested in this project to celebrate and show student learning about Lunar New Year. We will be using the Design Thinking process and making paper lanterns and red envelopes, as well as other Chinese artifacts.

Our students would work hard to create meaningful Lunar New Year projects and we know that it would be awesome to be able to share with our school community and display their work around our campus.

It requires multiple skills from our students, including ELA, Math, and NGSS Science design process standards, and also helps our large ELL community to use the circuit makers to create authentic hands-on experiential learning.
