My Project

As a school counselor, I run 12 to 18 small groups a school year. While in small group, students discuss emotional regulation, executive functioning and social skills. My students learn so much in group that they are able to apply to all areas of their lives.

Bracelets are a small way for students to remember conversations, skills learned and friendships made during group.

This school year we made bracelets to commemorate groups and it was the members' favorite way to end our time together. Many of my students still wear their bracelets daily!
