Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The counseling office is many things: a meeting space, a place to plan future goals, a refuge on a stressful day, a place to find solace and guidance. Whatever its use at the time, it is a place of safety, support and student-centered focus.
My middle school puts students first in all aspects, not in the least is our dedication to the social emotional and intellectual development of our community.
The items in this project will go towards the sensory area, game shelf and give students a comfortable space to share in the counseling office. The hexagon felt/cork board will be added to the walls to display student art work and goal setting work sheets.
Your donations to this project will enhance the counseling office space and better equip us to meet the needs of our growing population of middle school students.
