My Students

My students love to do hands on activities. They are curious about everything and they like to build and create!

I learn as much from them as they learn from me because they are excellent teachers!

Our school is a rural school in Iowa with 50% free and reduced lunch situations and many of my students come from low income, single parent homes. They want to learn all they can while they are in school and strive for a brighter future!

My Project

These items will make a difference to my students because they will have an opportunity to create and design. The students can work with the Cubelets to become better thinkers and to create different robotic behaviors. Tanagrams will help students to learn about spatial relationships, geometric terms and allow them to develop their problem solving abilities.

Having tubs of Kinex building toys in our classroom will help students develop problem solving skills and encourage them to use their minds!

With the items I am requesting for my classroom students will enhance their creativity and want to learn something new everyday!
