Make Small Group Instruction More Convenient

Help me give my students the equipment needed to make small group instruction/rotations more convenient.

My Project

Covid-19 heavily impacted our students as it hindered their ability to learn causing many of them to need more interventions. Our school has been emphasizing closing the gap by using retention to intervention/small group instruction.

Because of the tight classroom space and limited whiteboard availability, it makes it difficult to do guided small group instruction rotations.

With the large mobile whiteboards, it'll be more convenient for students to stay in their designated space with their groups without moving and use these boards during our rotations. Extra support/personnel in the classroom will also be able to utilize these mobile boards to provide small group instruction.

Also, the utility carts will be helpful for each group of students to carry all the materials needed during small group instruction time. Each cart will hold all their folders, books, supplies, and manipulatives during the different intervention rotations they have. This will not only make transitions easier, but it will also allow students to be more organized with their assignments and materials.

Lastly, math flashcards are a great addition for students to have extra math fluency practice during a rotation activity or centers.

Overall, we hope that these materials benefit students during small group/guided instruction.
