Make Science Real With Hands on Learning!

My Project

I want to bring science concepts to life through hands on learning!

My students need manipulatives that they can visually see, touch and use to learn and grow.

The life cycle models will make great additions to our insect, farm reptile/amphibian and plant units as students won't just view classroom posters, but will have the opportunity to touch the individual models and arrange/rearrange them in a correct sequence to create the lifecycle.

Droppers are used for various science experiments and are a great way for students to work on fine motor skills of squeezing, putting in, picking up, placing in and squeezing again to release. Students love seeing the liquid visually release from the dropper and many times a reaction from the liquid being combined to another substance.

Additional animal counters are a great tool for counting tools during our thematic units and they make great additions to our sensory bins where students match the figure to identical pictures or written word cards.

Farm and dino stamps will allow students to practice pairing named animals with their names and to create fun art as they are doing it.

All resources in this project will help reinforce and enhance science concepts throughout the school year!
