My students need Jellyfish Art Education Package and other hands-on ecosystem resources for the classroom to help science come alive!

My Students
My students are amazing and inspire me every day. I teach in the Brownsville-Ocean Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, where the majority of students are at a significant socioeconomic disadvantage. We are a Title 1 school with 100% of our students receiving free lunch.
Our students are incredibly talented and resilient kids and despite the many obstacles they face, they show up each and every day, happy to have a safe and welcoming space to learn and grow.
With little access to green space or nature, our students are often learning about the environment through books and videos. Nonetheless, they are inquisitive and determined to learn as much as possible about how the world works.
My Project
Our students will use these resources for discovery-based learning about ecosystems. My goal is to move beyond textbooks and make science come alive by doing hands-on science labs. With your help, our students will be able to create a terrarium to learn about the different dynamics of ecosystems and create a memorable jelly-fish habitat as a long-term study project.
Your donation will help to light a fire in science and inspire future scientists!
In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not." Please help make a difference and make science come alive for our students at BEES.
