My students need engaging, hands on activities that incorporate both Science and Math. Critical thinking skills are enhanced during such activities. Kids ask the why, how, and what questions. Even better, they can help answer questions!
My 4th grade students are part of a small Title I community school. As a teacher in this setting, I would love to have some support to provide them with critical learning materials that can help stimulate and support them in the learning process this year!
My students enter the classroom enthusiastically ready to learn, think, explore and grow!
My goal, as the teacher, is to keep that motivation going all year long by using a variety of learning situations.
The science kits and game folders requested will let students be active learners this year and used for students in years to come. Kids learn by doing. Hands-on science and math encourages the children to do something: they observe, ask questions, touch, and, experiment.
You know the power of Science and Math when you see it in action!
My students need the opportunity to see and experience science at work. By using the various units, students will explore matter, properties of earth, forces & motion, electricity, and the solar system. The activities are hands on and critical thinking based.
