Make Robotics Competitive Again

Help me give my students the VEX robotics parts that we are lacking.

My Students

Our school system is focused on our children, our community, and our future. We strive to provide an outstanding curriculum, superb faculty and staff, award-winning programs, dedicated athletic and academic teams, and a vibrant community that supports the school system.

Most of our students come from low-income families.

That being said when we go to a E-sports competition my students are wearing just regular clothes, not sports uniforms like other teams.

My Project

Since the beginning of the pandemic, everything has shut down, even STEM competitions. Slowly in-person competitions are opening up. My students have built the vex robots and programmed on the old system, but we would like to be able to go to a competition. In order to do this, we need the new VEX equipment including the new brain, motors, motor controllers, and remotes. A lot of STEM students do not play sports or do other extracurricular activities. These competitions allow these students the opportunity to learn teamwork, how to work with people they don't know, or how to work through problems together.
