“If the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would only have four years left to live.” - Einstein. With the decline of the bee population, ie colony collapse disorder, Wagoner High School would like to involve our students in the raising and care of two hives to be located at our local high school. This project would be open to the already established agriculture class and also open to those students who show an interest in environmental sciences and preservation. We are respectfully requesting funding for two starter kits, two adult sized bee suits, and two feeders.
