My Students

I teach in a small community full of kids excited to learn. My students are bright and energetic with the capabilities to do many good things in their lives. My students are from a small close-knit rural community that celebrates special events like the Maypole Dance and Pioneer Day. The area of our school is so large that some students need to take a 30-minute bus ride every morning.

I joined DonorsChoose because I know so many people that want to help our students and this is a great way for generous people to contribute and help our students.

I have been able to see many teachers and students benefit from the kind acts of donors.

Thank you for all that you do to help bring the necessary supplies to our classrooms.

My Project

I don't think there is anyone that would disagree that students need more exercise and activities at school. My classroom inventory of playground equipment hes been depleted over the last few years and we are down to one basketball, one flat soccer ball, and a jump rope.

The equipment that I am requesting will supply our whole 6th grade with enough equipment to keep them busy at recess this year and many years to come.

The equipment I am requesting should be enough to have the students engaged and more likely to make friends with different teams and activities.
