My Project

After completing a successful run of Radium Girls, we were left to sift through the comments. The students brought the show to life and astounded the crowd with their understanding of the characters, depth of emotion, and impactful delivery. The stagecraft moved like clockwork, the costumes were realistic for the period, and the lighting was far above expectations. The part of the production that fell short was the ability to hear the actors more clearly.

We are working in a performing arts center with a gym in the middle; this is not conducive to sound travel.

The only negative feedback we received was the volume of the actors, despite the hours working on projection. Amplification is the only solution to this problem.

We need fifteen sets of microphones and receivers; I am starting by asking for two. If we reach this goal and are fully funded, I will create another campaign until we reach our intended goal of fifteen complete sets. When you donate, your name will be added to a commemorative certificate hanging for all to see. Individual donors who fund a complete set will have their names put into the battery compartment to be seen by performers for years to come.
