This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a very kind group of young children who usually get along well. However, they can still use some practice in using their words to problem-solve and settle their differences.

A complete play home with baby dolls will offer the children greater opportunities to role-play and work together.

Much negotiation will occur as they decide who the parents will be, and how they will share the demands of keeping a house. The baby crib and care set will also allow students to soothe themselves as they care for the babies. The small table will allow more space for the children to move, as it will replace a makeshift long desk. The baskets will allow the children to store the baby dolls and other props not in use.
