Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are pre k students and lovers of crafting among many other things. At this age, they love to play, build and explore. They are like sponges and absorb everything they possibly can. We craft and play every single day in our little classroom in Bronx, NY. They cannot wait to come in everyday ready to start crafting using paper, glue or crayons. They cannot wait to build with blocks, legos and magna tiles. They cannot wait to play and discover with friends and teachers. These basic needs we are asking for are small things but make a huge difference in our days of learning. Making our own monthly playdough is a tradition in my classroom and it is so much fun for the kids! They love it and remember how to make it.
