Make Our Great Kids Be Better Cinematographers Using STEM Skills

My students need camcorders and supplies to create high quality videos, to record presentations of best student works, and to give them current technology that works and is up to date. Aloha for your help.

My Students

My class somehow is full of bright, fun, and eager-to-learn students who want to create high quality video projects and documentaries. And they need some technology assistance from the Donorschoose community to complete their dreams.

Our class is hands-on, meaning kids are not sitting in their seats managing worksheets all day.

Students are up, walking around, outside with tripods and cameras capturing clips to create their next great creative project. Some kids are explaining about their island cultures, some are making musical videos, and some are just researching the background facts of how to do something better visually.

My Project

These materials will allow more students to go out in groups and record the best works in our class, and to allow more students to record and create clips of our school events/activities. These cameras are up to date current high quality rugged units great for high school students of all levels including special needs and accelerated students.

Creating quality films/clips with added keyframe animations and student-created music are all high level STEM-based activities that we are integrating into the lives of our students in our media classes.

This donation would allow us to double the amount of students that could film in a given class period. By doubling our current creation capacity, we can cover more student presentations and develop better cinematography/visual skills in our students. Thanks and Aloha.
