My Project
Hello! I'm looking for help to make my classroom a more comfortable place to be. I want my students to be able to keep their minds on school by getting their energy out.
I'm requesting funding to get 2 standing desks, 2 under desk peddling machines, and cushions to make classroom chairs more comfortable.
My students are incredibly hard workers but they've got a lot of energy building up in their bodies and need to move! Rather than leaving the classroom to go on a walk, I want to keep them in the classroom, but still give them an outlet for their energy.
Many of my students benefit from standing while working but standing with a clipboard can get awkward and it's 2023 so a lot of our work is on computers. Standing desks would allow students to learn in the best way for them. The under desk peddling machines can help get out excessive energy. Many of my students have me twice a day and spend a lot time in uncomfortable school chairs. I'm seeking cushions to make the room more comfortable, especially when we're doing independent reading!
