My Students

Our school serves all the high school students in our area, as well as those who choose to come from outside the district because of our high standards for learning. As a charter school, we do a lot of things right in terms of rigorous and challenging teaching standards, but we teach students who come from limited backgrounds, many of whom turn to the school for all of their resources. We are a diverse school, but students are often uninformed about cultures around the world and how those cultures are impacting our world we share.

My Project

With help from the reMarkable 2, I will be able to provide handwritten notes and assignments to students in a much easier way... and SAVE TREES! Students who struggle will also be able to borrow the device in class to have their notes digitally uploaded for easier access.

Handwritten notes are so important for student retention, but students need access to them digitally!

With this device, students and I will be able to handwrite our notes and upload them via PDF in order to have digital access to them as needed. This will allow us to keep hand writing our notes, but to also make them available digitally for organization and access.
