My Project

Our classroom is a diverse mix of budding innovators from various backgrounds. These resources will specifically aid in leveling the playing field, ensuring all students have the opportunity to engage and learn effectively, regardless of their prior exposure to technology. By funding this request, you will directly support our mission to build a dynamic learning environment that promotes active learning, creativity, and technological fluency among all students.

Our project aims to enrich STEM education by integrating practical, hands-on learning tools into our curriculum.

I am seeking funding for additional filament for our classroom 3D printer and sets of Play-Doh, which will allow our students to explore, design, and understand spatial and physical concepts through tangible experiences. By using the 3D printer, students will transform digital designs into physical objects, thereby bridging theoretical knowledge and practical application. Play-Doh will be used in preliminary design phases, helping students conceptualize and iterate their ideas quickly and cost-effectively before finalizing their designs for printing.

The 3D Printer Filament will enable continuous use of our existing 3D printer, allowing students to experiment with designs and learn through trial and error, which is crucial for deep learning in STEM fields. The Play-Doh in an accessible material will make the design process more inclusive, encouraging younger students and those with less digital proficiency to participate actively in creating and learning.
