Make Mornings Great with Morning Tubs!

Help me give my students Alphabet Stampers, STEM Books and kits, Wooden Blocks, and Magnetic Tiles for STEM opportunities first thing in the morning! I am ditching the worksheets and allowing my students to come in, enjoy their breakfast and build, create, and think freely!

My Project

Each and every student is given the opportunity for a free breakfast. They are greeted with hugs and conversation at the door. In order to get them excited for the day, I'd like to start a new routine! Morning Tubs allow students to come and CREATE while eating and saying good morning to their neighbors!

Help me ditch the worksheets and bring out their creative and problem-solving sides!

My hope is that students will feel encouraged about the day ahead of us, feel successful FIRST THING in the morning, and have time to problem-solve in their own way!

Second Graders need opportunities to problem-solve and create, but the curriculum and time constraints do not allow for this MOST days. In a world of testing, worksheets, and curriculum to get through--these kids not only deserve this time but desperately NEED IT!
