Help me give my students a magnetic letter kit for a chance to interact with the alphabet in a whole new way!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Gruber's classroom raised $236

My Students
We are a super busy First Grade crew! We love to be hands-on with materials we are learning about. I teach at a very low income Title I school. All kids receive free lunch and breakfast. Saying that, they are very grateful for things that are given to them, no matter how big or small. In some cases, the classroom is the only consistency they have in their life. In my classroom and in my school, we are a family. We support each other in all that we do. My students are very energetic and eager to learn. They love to be hands-on with materials we are learning about.
My Project
Both the magnetic whiteboards and the letters will be used daily during our phonics and spelling time. We have one board in our room that is used to make words during literacy station time, but now we will be able to work on this whole group and in small groups! Everyone will be able to have their own set of letters to practice spelling words with the spelling patterns we learn.
By donating to this project, you will be helping the students in my room now and in the future with the phonics and spelling.
These magnetic whiteboards and letters are going to be a game changer in the classroom. The magnetic boards will help us keep up with our letters, but we can also write on them since they are dry erase. Letter manipulatives give children a way to interact with the alphabet through play and they are able to see the way the letters are formed.
