Make Math Fun!

Help me give my students interactive activities to practice their math skills. The Play-Doh, dice, mini figurines, and cardstock will help me create fun games. The laminating sheets will make those activities last!

My Project

Learning to understand math is so important for all my students! Understanding math deeply helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence that carries over into other subjects. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about patterns, logic, and making sense of the world. In order to reach all learners and help the practice stick, I want to create multisensory activities and games. Students will build number sense through concrete models. Students will play games where they physically take away and add to amounts to help them with their math fact fluency.

The materials in this project will help all students build their math skills!

I am requesting dice, pompoms, tongs, mini figurines, Play-doh, Velcro, and cardstock. These items will help make the learning experience visual, kinesthetic, and auditory to reach all learners. The laminating sheets will create more durability for the items we use during our games and activities.
