This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am moving to a different Pre-K classroom and would love a new math carpet for my students. I am also requesting two Talking Buttons. My students are a curious, active, and enthusiastic group of children who are always ready to learn new things.
More than just a cozy, comfy place, the carpet is where my students will gather to learn math concepts and skills, engage in conversations, listen to others, learn about their classmates, and connect through various skill-building games and activities.
My students will learn so much this year! My goal is for this carpet to become an important part of the classroom. They will sing, talk, learn, count, share, add, and subtract while sitting on the carpet and having math fun. My goal for the Talking Buttons is for the students to record themselves counting and playback their recordings.
