My Students

My students are diverse in both culture and abilities. My classes are made up of students with learning disabilities, students learning English as a new language, as well as general education. My students learn in a variety of ways and we work hard to accommodate all of the different learning abilities and styles of each student. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and while each are different and unique, we focus on coming together as a learning community!

My Project

With step-by-step picture instructions and hands-on activities that come ready to use, the instant centers make independent math practice a snap! Perfect for small groups , the centers come with everything kids need to complete super-involving activities that cover a wide range of early math skills—from matching and patterning with kid-pleasing shapes to estimating and adding with cute bug counters. Plus, each center features a double-sided activity chart that allows 4 children to work at the same time…with simple picture instructions that are super-easy to follow, so even non-readers can work independently! Students will love the bright colors and picture directions!

Working with instant centers develops skills in shapes, patterning, counting, measurement, comparing numbers, making tens, simple addition and simple subtraction.
