My Project

My students are on the spectrum and they are between the ages of 3-4. They need a lot of help and struggle to speak as they are trying to understand the world. I feel that supplies that build their sensory skills and objects and toys that are hands-on, will help motivate them. I have requested many basic toys and supplies to help them count, group items, and learn to follow steps.

I am hoping that with these manipulative items, the students will be more engaged and interested in learning.

They will be learning in a form of play therapy. I am excited to keep these little guys engaged and happy. I like the fact that they want to continue coming to school even though they have a hard time communicating. I hope that with more classroom activities and supplies, they will be even more excited.
