Make Learning Fun With Osmo!

My Students

I have the opportunity to work with the most amazing students in the world. They work hard, play hard, love with their whole heart, and teach me something new everyday. I teach in a self-contained special education classroom, and though my students are in middle school, they stay with me for 4+ classes per day, and I get to be their teacher all three years of middle school!

In my class, we put the ability in disability.

My students know that their brains and bodies work a little differently from their peers and they need extra help. We love that! My students know that they can do anything they put their minds to, and they move mountains! I want to help theses kids get the most out of their education, which is where you come in! We would love your help to make some projects in our class possible.

My Project

Osmo is a company that is helping kids to develop skills in math, literacy, and coding, all while having fun and exploring new activities. The games are engaging for kids of all ages, and the skills practiced are especially applicable to students in my self-contained classroom who need to work on the very basic of skills. By adding two iPads with the accompanying games to my classroom, I will be able to have multiple students working on these skills at one time. The students will be able to grow their basic math and literacy skills while having fun along the way.
