Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The flexible seating and new books will help students have the ability to select their seating. They’re more likely to feel comfortable and engaged in the learning process. This can help reduce distractions and increase focus. My goals are to make reading and learning exciting so students continue reading at home and for enjoyment. The Dog man series is an extremely popular series among my students, but I only have a few. Introducing a fresh selection of chapter books can reignite a student’s interest in reading, making it feel like an adventure rather than a chore. This is especially beneficial if the books align with the students' interests.
