My Project

The hands on learning materials will provide my students with the opportunity to explore, build, create and use their imagination while learning through play. I am planning to create a calming center using the Rainbow Liquid Sensory Viewers and the Shake & Soothe Sensory Tubes. The Playful Penguin Blocks, I Can Build It set will provide ways to encourage students to practice their building and problem solving skills. The alphabets and numbers materials will provide a variety of ways for my students to learn to recognize, sort and utilize colorful, fun, learning materials.

I am hoping to provide my kindergarten students with the opportunity to be responsible students by learning how to use the new materials and putting them back into the containers when it's time to clean up.

I specially chose the Lakesore Tuff totes to store the materials becasue they are durable and can last many years. This is my first Donor's Choose project.

I work in a Title 1 school where all of our students receive a free breakfast and lunch. Approximately 40% of my students are English Second Language Learners. It would be wonderful to provide my students with more hands on learning materials..
