Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All students deserve a classroom in which they can focus. Due to no fault of their own, our classrooms are inhospitable in the summer and late spring months due to the high and humid temperatures, which often exceed 100 degrees.
Being an urban district, my kids face challenges that affluent students do not.
By eradicating the stifling heat and providing them with a cool classroom, you will not simply be providing them with a more suitable classroom setting, you will be bringing equity to a diverse student population.
