Make It Work: In-Person Learning With Social Distancing

Help me give my students extra storage for in class learning this fall.

My Students

My students are just like many students in classrooms all over the country. We have a wide range of learning styles and abilities. We have students who come from single-parent homes to homes where they are many family members living with them. Some students speak other languages at home and then English at school.

2nd graders are full of love and energy.

They love seeing each other and get excited for fun things we do together in class and I do my best to make school a fun place where they want to be.

My Project

Going back into the classroom this fall is going to be a lot different with the CDC guidelines in place. Students are not going to have the freedom to get up and move as much as they usually do. I want them to be able to have different things at their reach to access since they won't be able to get up as often.

I am asking for seat sacks for my students to hold their independent reading books, new Chromebooks, and other supplies they used to be able to go get when they wanted it.

With the new restrictions of them having to be at their desks all day in rows, they still have access to books (instead of book boxes), fun notebooks, and have a place to store their Chromebook when we are not using it.

My hope is this supply will help with storage and the limitations we will have this upcoming school year.
