As a School Media/Technology teacher and Librarian for kindergarten to fifth grade students, I am passionate about doing everything in my power to provide a safe, exciting and passionate learning environment! Students in our small school are learning in buildings that are not up to modern education standards. They often struggle to find success that is standardized with what they receive. That is where this project plays a huge roll.
We are a small town that is set in the mountains of Colorado, surrounded with nature to inspire and educate us!
We strive to provide as much as possible for our students on an extremely tight budget that is continually being cut.
Our students will all have an opportunity to engage with others. Teamwork will improve and students will collaborate in this space together. We will utilize and teach problem solving strategies and techniques through trial and error.
Students will discover and explore in a space that is safe and inviting.
Imagination will grow independently, the more time students interact with LEGO bricks, friends and teachers.
STEM activities will flourish in this space. Children will be inspired to think outside of the box and stretch their comfort zone. Let's join together to provide more play for the future of our nation. After all, the best education is done through experience. There is no better experience than that of happiness, challenges and success.
LEGO bricks and kits provide strategic problem solving that children need! The LEGO kits will help children thrive and learn independence and instruction. Students will learn to work independently and collaborate with other students while exploring and playing some of the games we have asked for.
