My Students

My school is a co-ed Title I institution in North Carolina catering to approximately 700 students from all walks of life. Although we operate on a 100% free lunch system, we are still anchored in excellence. Everyday learning opportunities are provided to our students that allow them to explore, discover, and maximize their potential.

My students are like gems, different yet precious, and priceless.

Every year I expect a bunch of ambitious, hardworking, and willing-to-learn students. I am committed to my task of ensuring that I provide them with meaningful, purposeful, inclusive, and relevant learning experiences daily!!

My Project

My Make It Stick - Magnetic Tools for Learning project is requesting resources that my students can use to help build, foster, and improve their writing and conversational skills. Being able to communicate effectively is important. Therefore, students need the right foundation in grammar, punctuation, and spelling to make that happen. The magnetic handwriting paper is for demonstrating and practicing letter formation. The parts of speech pieces and the punctuation pieces are for constant reinforcement of each concept, examples of them, and how to correctly use them daily. The magnetic labels will be used for word wall and spelling activities.

By supporting this project, you will help to "magnetize" grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills; all needed for effective communication.
