My FIRST LEGO League Challenge team is amazing! The entire team was new this year and they stepped up to the challenge. This team won first place at their qualifier for their Innovation Project. However, we had challenges programming the Spike Prime robots using our outdated tablets. The programming worked sporadically. We learned from other teams that using a MacBook and/or iPads would yield more consistent results.
This innovative and creative team will do wonders with a new MacBook.
Not only will they be able to program their Spike Prime robot more consistently, they will have the opportunity to use other cutting edge software on the MacBook. We take lots of photos and videos during our sessions and at our competitions. The team will be able to use the tools on the Mac to make great team videos and photo collages to promote themselves. The cart is going to be a great help when attending events. Currently the team has had to carry their robots and materials around in bins. The rolling cart will make it much easier and safer.
