My Students

Our first and second graders are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed.

Learning never stops!

Our school is located in northwest Milwaukee. Most of our families struggle with poverty, which creates difficulties in having supplies needed for learning at school and home. Our goal is to provide an equitable education for each student by using DonorsChoose to be able to have the resources and supplies needed for them to reach their full potential.

My Project

Playing games when you are young is a great example of how we learn to take turns, share, and learn how to be a good sport when it comes to winning and losing. There are so many valuable lessons to be learned through games. Also, many of these games in this project not only teach these lessons but also math and reading concepts as well. Learning never stops in our room.

Did you know that unstructured play is critical for students to increase focus and attention?

Wisconsin can be very cold in the winter months, so our room gets its fair share of indoor recess. Help our students to not only build on their life skills but also their academic skills with several of these games in this project. LEARNING NEVER STOPS!
