My Students
My students are special education students who need assistance in class in order to be successful. They require in-class support as well as small group instruction in the resource room.
My students are most successful when they are provided tools and accommodations to help them learn and succeed in the classroom.
Many of my students are dyslexic and need reading and writing support.
My Project
These social skills books will help me plan lessons to teach my students strategies for keeping calm and reacting calmly to social situations. Emotions cards will help my students recognize emotions in themselves and others. My students need to be taught tools and strategies to handle their emotions.
Social skills activities and games will give my students to practice what they have been taught.
My students need a chance to practice the skills they are learning. They need a safe space to practice controlling their emotions in social situations. The social skills games will give them that opportunity.
