This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach a dynamic group of 4th graders who appreciate a welcoming learning environment. My students treasure experiences that allow them to move around the classroom and engage with their peers in a significant way. My students enjoying learning new information and applying what they learn during class to their own lives. My students are warriors who’ve overcome learning from home.

My Project

These games will enhance skills directly taught to even my most hesitant learners. No one can resist playing a good game. Students will use these materials to practice and show what they know by playing a game. I try to gamify the learning as much as possible. Now that we are in person, I want students to continue to be engaged in the learning. Learning games is the sure way to do that. Learning games allow students to continue learning without realizing that they are playing a game about a concept. I know students are sure to be excited when they have a game to reinforce a new concept taught.
