My Students
Our school is nestled in the heart of New York City. Many of our students travel from different boroughs to attend school. Many of the students make difficult sacrifices to fulfill their dream of attending an arts school. Each student is different and they all love to learn at their own pace.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative groups to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
All of our students are eager to play different sports to improve their fitness levels. Our school does not have the funds to buy the required equipment . If the equipment is funded I can introduce these sports to the students. They will learn life long skills of sportsmanship, teamwork and improve their self esteem. They will take the skills they learn in the class and make fitness a lifestyle. With the equipment they will feel energized to play and be able to perform in school with a refreshed mind.
This equipment will be a game changer for my students.
They will be able to learn different sports as well as get in a better physical shape which would help them better in school. My students are motivated to learn to play different sports.
