My Students

My students are creative and fun kids. They are eager to learn and always try their best. I have twenty students in my class and five of those students are on Individual Education Plans (IEP). I also have students who are English Language Learners. They are a diverse bunch who all have different needs that need to be met. They have the kindest hearts and enjoy school so much!

They come from low incomes homes that have been struggling due to COVID.

Most don't have the resources they need in order to be successful at home. They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in our newly established distance remote learning platform. This presents a challenge, as most of my students do not have access to supplies in their homes.

My Project

Distance learning is so different from regular school. I miss my students! And we're all suffering from WAY too much screen time! I would like to supply them with some resources that would make distance learning more engaging.

My students NEED resources to continue to learn.

I have picked out a few things I think my students would enjoy, including:

white boards, sight word books and journals. I have also included markers so that they can have enough to last until we are back at school. These materials will be given directly to my students prior to the start of school.
