Make Coding Come Alive for My Students!

My Students

I have the privilege to work in a computer lab in an elementary school. That means I work with all 600+ students in our school. In our computer lab, we have technology days such as working on coding and Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, etc.

I want them to see what writing code looks like and see it come to life.

Purchasing Ozobots will give them hands-on not just typing on a screen. With Ozobots, they write the code with markers on white paper and the Ozobot will read and act out the code bringing it to life.

My Project

Some students are scared to code, and it can be scary at first. Having Ozobots will give these students the chance to understand how coding works. Some students are good at art. This is where they can connect the dots to art and coding.

The students will be on the floor drawing lines dashes and dots.

Each color and each mark makes a code for the Ozobot to read and act out.

They will see the code they write come to life. For students who struggle with coding, this will give them the confidence they need in our technology world.
