Our staff provides a plethora of science classes for a smaller school and college credits at a reduced price to our students. Just in our science department, students can receive college credit for taking AP Physics, AP Environmental Science, AP Biology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology.
My goal is to offer skills and opportunities to students that can be applied to their future.
Also, as a college prep teacher, it is my job to ensure that students have a hands-on curriculum with access to computers, printers, and common technology that they will be using in future jobs, college, personal use, and more.
Our seniors have lost so many right of passages with the early closure of school this spring. I want to ensure they feel celebrated in a unique and loving way. They are like shooting stats that have come so far and cannot go back from where they came, so I want to light up our school boulevard with ONE solar light for each of them (and a backdrop light of our school color, red). Our seniors in our small community can use this as a place to walk through, drive by, dance among the stars, or stop to take a celebration photo. Travel to the stars by making our only main boulevard lit up in celebration of our shining bright seniors. Please make a wish for our shooting stars!
