Help me give my students access to books that they would normally read at school. In addition, the journal and art supplies will allow them to develop comprehension through writing and visual representation.
I teach a classroom filled with passionate, inquisitive, kind children!
They come into school so excited to share stories about themselves or their families.
They love to read , practice mental math fun and learn about all things science! Nearly all of my students come from low-income houses. I just want the best for them!
In our classroom we support each other as learners with positive comments, high fives and the occasional hug.
My students LOVE books and often love reading to their classmates! They are so curious about everything! They have terrific senses of humor. We laugh every day about something. Our class community embraces mistakes as opportunities to grow not only academically but emotionally and socially as well.
My Project
These books will keep my students excited about learning while they are at home. These books will allow my children to access information they normally would get at school .
My students need a variety of ways to express their learning.
I plan on buying them individual journals for them for 2 reasons. First, I want them to write about their feelings to help them sort through all emotions that they may be feeling right now. Second, I want them to have another way to process what they have learned with something other than worksheets.
