Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you want to make a change in a classroom? Make a change by helping us learn how to make change!
My students are in a kindergarten to third grade special education classroom in a neighborhood public school.
They need to learn the values of coins, how to add coin values, and how to make change to help them be successful in life. However, we don't have any money materials!
My Project
These hands-on money centers, stamps, puzzles, and coins will not only help teach the students the life skills that they need, but they will also help make the learning fun! The students will love the money listening center, money match-up puzzles, and money activity stations, and these centers will give the students the opportunity to learn the necessary money skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
Please help give these students the opportunity to be successful in school and in life!
We need to learn all about money. Make a change in our classroom by helping us learn how to make change!
