This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students entering upper elementary need flexible seating! These kids are still facing the impact of Covid on their learning as they struggle to focus and achieve their academic goals.
Flexible seating would not only help them in their academic experiences, but also in their social ones.
Many of my students struggle to interact with peers in a healthy way and engage in a learning community. Flexible seating would make the kids excited to come to school and prepare them to interact with one another in academic and social activities.
The energy that kids have in the classroom can be distracting or detrimental in making progress. Flexible seating would help to eliminate problems that arise from kids inevitable need to be active AND it would help them channel their energy into learning!
Please consider donating to my project to transform the classroom and the attitudes of my students in their current environment!
