This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we enter the latter part of the school year, we are looking to replenish some of the supplies necessary to keep our scholars safe and healthy. Paper towels are extra important our classroom because it is used to frequently clean messes and wipe down desks and shared spaces. We need a large replacement hand sanitizer as well because we do sanitize our hands multiple times a day.
The kids love to moisturize their hands with lotion afterwards too.
It makes them feel fancy and grown up! We are requesting the travel size first aid kits and tissues to keep on hand when we leave the classroom or go to recess for convenience purposes. Band aids and blister bandages help the children feel better when minor cuts occur, and saves us a long trip to the nurses office!
I’m requesting the picture frames to create a type of gallery wall featuring my students. They love seeing themselves displayed in pictures on ClassDojo, so I thought it would be special to print out photos of them and put inside frames. I believe it will make the classroom feel more homey too.
