This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students come from low-income families and require additional support to thrive academically. They are bright, eager to learn, and dedicated to achieving their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. I view my classroom as their second home, a space where they spend a significant portion of their day.
It's important to me to create a clean and healthy environment for them by regularly vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining the space.
A fresh and tidy classroom allows them to breathe easily, engage in meaningful discussions with their peers, and enjoy their time together during breaks. I strive to ensure that my students feel valued and supported by their teacher. I believe that fostering a caring atmosphere will enhance their motivation and positivity, empowering them to work towards their success.
Maintaining a healthy and clean environment is not just about physical cleanliness; it’s also about instilling a sense of responsibility and care for their surroundings. This awareness can extend beyond the classroom and positively influence their communities. Small acts of care can lead to significant transformations, and I am committed to making this a reality for my students.
