Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The products provided in this project will allow my students the opportunity to not only be prepared but healthy. Specifically, students will use wipes, cleaning products, and erasers to keep the classroom hygienic and allow them the comfort that comes from clean desks and hands.
Students tend to frequently ask questions like, "Can I borrow a pencil?" and "Do you have a Band-Aid?" As a teacher, it is nice to be able to say "yes" and then provide them with that resource.
The other items on the list are the day-to-day bread and butter of my classroom. Binder clips to keep assignments together, magnets to present student work, highlighters to encourage engagement, staplers to help keep organized, all of it to make sure my students' educational opportunities do not get derailed by a lack of supplies.
