My Students
My students have a wonderful learning environment, however storage space is lacking.
My students are a wonderful group of middle school students from a public school in Illinois.
They are very hard working and love coming to school, but are in dire need of a way to manage all of their materials that go home. Recently, they have even requested a way to help themselves become more organized.
My Project
These student mailboxes will do a number of things for my students. First, it will teach them organizational skills that they desperately need not only in school, but in life as well. Secondly, as their teacher I very much need a daily, organized way to deliver important papers to my students and to their families.
Granting my students the ability to have a mail system is imperative to their progress as they enter a vital stage of their development.
I want them to be organized and be able to maintain a clear line of communication between home and school.
