I am requesting animal track and scat molded replicas, life cycle acylic models, a digital magnification microscope to show on a TV or computer screen for a large group lesson, 2 individual microscopes for our class science center, and a pack of books that will support our natural sciences units.
These life-like animal replicas and high-quality microscopes would greatly enhance our kindergarten inquiry-based curriculum across subject areas by showing there is more to life sciences than meets the eye.
Young children learn in hands-on ways and by asking questions driving by their curiosity. If young children have the ability to touch, experiment with and see deeper into our explorations, imagine how much more they could discover and learn!
