My Project

We are moving to a new learning space that is occupied by an entirely magnetic whiteboard wall. I am so excited to utilize this resource to enhance my teaching, but more importantly, my students' learning. I envision using the whiteboard to teach whole group lessons in math, literacy, science, social studies, and SEL (social emotional learning). I also envision using the wall for small group instruction when I run my intervention groups.

My goal for this project is to obtain the materials needed to utilize a magnetic whiteboard wall effectively for teaching and student learning.

All the materials in this project will help to achieve this goal. With a giant whiteboard wall, we will definitely be using whiteboard erasers and cleaning clothes. I hope to utilize the dry-erase marker holder, wooden marker holder, and wire baskets to organize materials. I plan to use the magnets and magnetic hooks to hold anchor charts, small group instruction cards, and other materials that will enhance student learning. Other items used for small and large group instruction will be the timer, magnetic book shelves, mini calendar, magnetic fraction tiles, and the literacy anchor charts.
