My Project

From pre-K to Grade 6, our students will use items from this project to create music, retell stories with songs, and share their love of music with others.

Our students are hungry for music and this project will help to nourish their appetite.

All students in our school will benefit greatly from this project. The preschool and kindergarten students will learn about circle stories and songs from the “There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” kit. Both lower and upper grades will use the tongue drums to explore rhythm and tones in music.

The jump bands will be used by upper grades to create movement with different rhythms to a variety of music.
